The library provides a mediated search service using the DIALOG Select online search system. DIALOG Select provdes online access to over 400 databases covering most fields of knowledge. The database access is fast, powerful and of no cost to the user of the service. Examples of databases and possible searches include Trademarkscan, a database of all registered trademarks, Citation Search, an online counterpart of the Science Citation Index, Social Sciences Citation Index, and the Arts and Humanities Citation Index, Public Opinion Poll, a database of results from surveys on many different topics, and full-text articles from a number of specific newspapers.
