• Asian American Institute (Chicago) - The Institute was established in 1992 as a pan-Asian, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. The mission is to empower the Asian Pacific American community through advocacy, utilizing research, education and coalition building.
• Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies - The Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) is a non-profit, non-partisan, educational organization dedicated to increasing participation of individuals of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage at all levels of the political process, from community service to elected office.
• Asian Pacific American Women’s Leadership Institute - The Asian Pacific American Women's Leadership Institute (APAWLI) is the only national, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and enriching leadership skills for Asian American and Pacific Island women leaders.
• Chinese American Citizens Alliance
• Filipino American National Historical Society - The mission of the Filipino American National Historical Society shall be to promote understanding, education, enlightenment, appreciation and enrichment through the identification, gathering, preservation and dissemination of the history and culture of Filipino Americans in the United States.
• Japanese American Citizens League - The Japanese American Citizens League, the nation's oldest and largest Asian American civil rights organization, was founded in 1929 to address issues of discrimination targeted specifically at persons of Japanese ancestry residing in the United States.
• Japanese American National Museum - The Japanese American National Museum is the only museum in the United States dedicated to sharing the experience of Americans of Japanese ancestry and was opened in the abandoned Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple ( the first Buddhist temple constructed in Los Angeles, built in 1925 ) in 1992.
• Japanese American Veterans Association - An umbrella website representing a number of Japanese American Veterans' organizations throughout the United States. The site has its origins in the telling of the patriotic Nisei experience during WWII when American citizens of Japanese ancestry were denied some of the most basic civil rights.
• Korean American Historical Society - Founded in 1985, Korean American Historical Society (KAHS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the collective memory of Korean Americans through collecting, maintaining, and transmitting the heritage and achievements of Koreans living in the United States and abroad.
• Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics - Since its founding in 1982, Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics, Inc. (LEAP) has been intent on “growing leaders” within the Asian Pacific American (APA) communities across the country.
• National Association of Korean Americans - NAKA was founded in 1994 as a non-profit, civil and human rights organization of concerned Korean Americans.
• National Japanese American Historical Society - The National Japanese American Historical Society (NJAHS), founded in 1980 in San Francisco, is a non-profit membership supported organization dedicated to the collection, preservation, authentic interpretation, and sharing of historical information of the Japanese American experience for the diverse broader national community
• Organization of Chinese Americans - Founded in 1973, the Organization of Chinese Americans, Inc. (OCA) is a national non-profit, non-partisan advocacy organization of concerned Chinese Americans.
• Society of Korean-American Scholars - Founded in 1996, the Society of Korean-American Scholars (SKAS) is a private, nonprofit and nonpartisan organization dedicated to engender intellectual exchanges in the global Korean community with a view to enlightening and empowering individual members of the community. It promotes scholarship and fellowship among its members and seeks to foster leadership among young Korean-Americans.
• Southeast Asia Resource Action Center - SEARAC is a national organization advancing the interests of Cambodian, Laotian, and Vietnamese Americans through leadership development, capacity building, and community empowerment.
• The Chinese in California, 1850-1925 - This beautifully built page illustrates nineteenth and early twentieth century Chinese immigration to California via some 8,000 images of photographs, letters, original art, cartoons, legal documents, business records and diaries. As the oldest and largest community of its kind in the United States, San Francisco's Chinatown receives special treatment. Based on materials from the libraries of the University of California- Berkeley and the California Historical Society.
