Who should fill out Section 7?

Each library participating in the statewide assessment should fill this section out. The best person to know all the answers would probably be a member of the cataloging staff.

Will my OCLC records be changed?

No, the data will be used to create the assessment will be a copy of the OCLC data. No OCLC records will be altered in any way.

What if I have records that do not include call numbers?

These records cannot be used in the subject analysis part of the assessment but may be used in the overlap part of the assessment, depending on the extent of the cataloging.

What if I have unique or locally derived call numbers?

If you have unique or locally derived call numbers, list the MARC tag where these local numbers are. Please also list all MARC tags where your records have call numbers, IN ORDER FROM MOST OFTEN USED TO LEAST.

What if I have prefixes before my call numbers?

Please list these on the second page of the form.
