The Coordinating Committee of the Illinois Cooperative Collection Management Program (ICCMCC) met at the Ames Library at Illinois Wesleyan University on November 19, 2002.
The meeting was called to order by S. Bodi at 10:30 a.m.
1. Approval of minutes
James Huesmann made a motion to approve the minutes of the September 5, 2002 ICCMCC meeting. Mary Munroe seconded the motion. The minutes were approved by voice vote.
2. Report from Director (Elizabeth Clarage)
Calendar
Confirmed that the Coordinating Committee will be meeting at Eastern Illinois University in April. EIU staff will once again tally the grant proposal scores for the consortium.
December 6th
An announcement of the December 6th Library Directors meeting was e-mailed to all library directors on October 1st. Invitations for the December 6th meeting were sent out by U.S. mail November 11th. An e-mail version of the invitation was sent to all library directors on November 12th. As of November 18, there were 14 registrants.

Listserv
Deleted the duplicate e-mail addresses for members of the Coordinating Committee. There are currently 136 subscribers to the listserv. 60 different institutions.
Partnerships:
Waiting for 3 "letters of commitment from Women's Studies Partnership.
Waiting to hear from the Illinois Authors partnership on two points of clarification.
Meetings:
Attended the CRL, "New Dynamics & Economics of Cooperative Collection Development, November 8-10, 2002 at the Aberdeen Woods Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
3. Budget
Budget dated October 31, 2002 was distributed to committee members.

The committee discussed what items should be included in packets. The proposed Bylaws will be posted on the consortium's website.
5. Report on September 6, 2002 CAL conference call

6. Report on the CAL visit to Daniel LaVista, Director of the IBHE, September 12, 2002
Sonia Bodi summarized the CAL meeting with Daniel LaVista. It was a brief meeting that introduced the group to Mr. LaVista.
7. Taskforce Reports
A. Continuing Education: "What Preservation Means in Small to Medium Sized Libraries" (Mary Munroe, Karen Schmidt, Kathy Walsh)
The workshop will be hands-on. Suggested price for participants were $25-$30. Date will be May 9th [subsequently changed due to venue availability to May 16th]. Jennifer Hain and Tom Tepper will be the presenters.
B. Continuing Education: Subject Bibliographers (Sally Duchow, Kathy Walsh, Charlotte Johnson)
The committee decided February 6-7 [later changed to February 7] as the dates for the bibliographers meeting. A possible place to hold the meeting was Springfield. Possible agenda items include inspirational speakers, experienced bibliographer speaker, time for group discussions. It was determined that all subject areas should be invited. Task force will discuss and plan the meeting in more detail prior to the Directors Meeting in December.
C. Assessment
Mary Munore gave a report on the status of the Assessment Project. She is waiting to hear from the State Library if the LSTA grant was funded.
