PARTICIPANTS THROUGH THE YEARS

The Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) administers funds provided through the Illinois Board of Higher Education to support cooperative collection management projects. The Consortium sponsors projects and acquisition programs focused on a variety of subject areas.

Since 1985 a variety of cooperative acquisition projects have brought together libraries from across the State to work together to work towards an outstanding State Collection in Illinois. CARLI prides itself on the amount of cooperation between large universities and small colleges, private and public institutions, and special and public libraries.
