(These are projects that will continue from 1996 or which will chart future work for the committee)

• Continue to build a leadership base for the committee

• Plan forum for evaluation of CCMCC activities within the state

• Identify new sources of funding

• Identify new cross-collaborative opportunities with other cooperative initiatives (e.g. CIC, CRL, statewide type-of-library cooperatives)
  • Consider a survey of CCMCC libraries about other collaborative projects with which they are involved

• Document the collecting strengths and weaknesses within Illinois; support projects that aid in resource sharing
  • Document successful grant projects; analyze less successful projects
    
  • Identify and support new or ongoing collection analysis projects
