Funds the acquisition of costly items for the general collections
Funds the acquisition of modern drama and literature of the western world

The Bernadine Hanby Endowment
Funds the acquisition of materials on education, travel, and recreation
Funds the purchase of hardware, software, and other technology for the Cataloging and Automated Records Department

The Horatio Alger Society Endowment
Funds the acquisition of Horatio Alger, Jr. books and related materials
Funds the acquisition of materials on nature and outdoor education
Funds the acquisition of materials on Japan, Buddhism, and Zen in particular
Funds the acquisition of eighteenth century related materials
Funds the acquisition of materials for the social sciences and humanities
Funds the acquisition of children's literature
Funds the acquisition of music scores and journals
Provides a scholarship supporting student library aides
Funds the acquisition of library materials for the general collection
