As Technical Coordinator for Library Digital Initiatives, Stacey oversees and guides the day-to-day operations of the digitization lab. She supervises the work of lab employees, including students, interns, and extra-help, is responsible for composing policies and written procedures for the lab, and for setting mark-up and metadata standards on all projects. She assists the Director with project management work, promotional activities, and research and grant writing.

Stacey's background in the humanities, information science and archives inform her work at Digital Initiatives. Stacey's areas of expertise include the investigation of best practices/standards, metadata schemas, digital preservation, and the development of online repositories. Stacey enjoys investigating how innovative technology can enrich all manners of historical print materials.
